CTPAT Trade Compliance, the new ISA with Deep SenGupta
The Importer Self Assessment (ISA) is a tool that allows importers to self-check their Internal Compliance procedures and processes. This provides a line of communication between the importer and CBP. This mutually benefits both parties, such as importers being removed from the audit pool for Focused Assessments.
Deep SenGupta of DSG Global LLC. provides us with information on the renamed program, now CTPAT Trade Compliance. He explains why this voluntary program can be beneficial for importers in working with CBP.
